The final day of AERO Friedrichshafen 2025 has come to a close – and what an incredible event it has been! Our simulator INFLIGHT AERO FS 2.2 attracted huge interest, with nearly 150 people stepping into the cockpit over the course of the fair to experience the thrill of aerobatics first-hand.
In total, we logged over 26 hours of virtual flight time – which, if done in a real aircraft, would have consumed approximately 2,600 liters of fuel! And let’s just say that more than once, our virtual aircraft would have ended up damaged or crashed. Luckily, in our simulator, everyone walked away unscathed – at least physically! Many left with a newfound passion for aerobatic flying.
These were truly amazing days, filled with inspiring encounters, great conversations with aviation enthusiasts, and testing sessions that confirmed what we strongly believe: our simulator is not only fun, but also a powerful tool for learning and training. We’re excited that new pilots will now have the chance to train and improve their skills before taking to the skies in real aircraft.
A huge thank you to the entire EXTRA Team – not only are they true professionals and aviation lovers, but also wonderful people.

And a very special merci beaucoup, beaucoup to Romain Fhal, without whom none of this would have become a reality.

As we head back home, we’re already gearing up to implement new features in our simulator, including the much-anticipated formation aerobatics training mode.
See you in the skies (or on screen)!
